U18 Girls Native Dream Team: Carrying Our Nations to the World Stage

The U18 Girls Native Dream Team represents more than volleyball. This team carries the strength, pride, and identity of Indigenous Nations from across Turtle Island—onto the court and onto the world stage.

Rooted in culture and driven by excellence, Native Dream Team (NDT) was built to create opportunities for Indigenous youth through sport. Every athlete selected for this roster earned their place through dedication, resilience, and belief—not only in themselves, but in something bigger than the game.

This year’s U18 Girls roster is a powerful reflection of unity. Athletes from Bigstone Cree Nation, Saddle Lake Cree Nation, Whitefish Lake First Nation, Chipewyan Prairie First Nation, Onion Lake Cree Nation, Algonquins of Greater Golden Lake, and beyond come together as one team, one vision.

Built With Purpose. Powered by Identity.

Each name on this roster represents countless early mornings, long drives, sacrifices, and unwavering support from families and communities. These athletes don’t just play for points—they play for their Nations, their people, and the next generation watching from home.

From dominant attackers and fearless middles to steady setters and relentless defenders, this team is balanced, skilled, and battle-ready. But more importantly, they play with heart.

Representing on an International Stage

As the U18 Girls Native Dream Team prepares to compete at the Hawaiian Island Volleyball Festival, they do so with pride woven into every jersey. This moment is about visibility. It’s about showing the world that Indigenous athletes belong at the highest levels of competition—and that when given opportunity, they rise.

This journey isn’t just about winning matches. It’s about breaking barriers, building confidence, and proving that Indigenous youth can dream big and go far.

More Than a Team — A Movement

Native Dream Team exists to open doors that were once closed. To remove financial barriers. To create pathways. To inspire belief.

When these athletes step onto the court, they carry their communities with them. They carry stories. They carry responsibility. And they carry dreams.

This is the U18 Girls Native Dream Team.
Strong. United. Unstoppable.
